Onsite Engineering Pty Ltd (OSE Riggers) is a Perth based construction company operating throughout the metropolitan area. Based in Wangara, we specialise in structural steel erection, rigging, site welding, and steel modifications within the commercial construction sector.
This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience on active construction sites rather than in a workshop environment, providing broad exposure to fabrication, welding, rigging, steel erection, and construction practices.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Boilermaker Welder to join our team.
This position will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker/Welding) while gaining hands on experience across a range of commercial construction projects.
We will also consider a 2nd Year Apprentice seeking additional experience or a new workplace placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop skills in welding and fabrication
- Fabricate and modify structural steel components on site
- Assist with the erection and installation of structural steel
- Work with cranes and lifting equipment during steel assembly activities
- Read and interpret plans and construction drawings
- Learn site set out, rigging, and steel erection techniques
- Follow workplace safety procedures and industry standards

Essential Requirements
- 18 years of age or older (required for High Risk Licensing pathways)
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- Strong awareness of workplace hazards and safety requirements
- Reliable, diligent, and hardworking attitude
